Your Mission
In this position, you will work days, evenings, and weekends, with voluntary split shifts and resource shifts as needed.
We collaborate closely with other home care groups within Söderhamn municipality, and sometimes work may occur across the entire Welfare sector.
As a care assistant, you contribute to ensuring that each client receives the care and support they need to live as independently and meaningfully as possible. You show respect for each individual's integrity, self-determination, and participation.
Your tasks may include support with personal care, meals, cleaning, escorting, and social interaction. Medical tasks may also be included after delegation from a nurse.
About the Workplace
In the Welfare sector, we focus on strengthening the resources of adults and the elderly so they can live a meaningful and independent life. Approximately 1,100 dedicated employees work here in areas such as home care, nursing homes, home health care, LSS, and social psychiatry.
Hemtjänst Kastanjen is a positive team of care assistants and nursing aides based in Ljusne. We consist of three geographically divided teams that work closely together to create safety and quality of life for our clients.

Your Qualifications
We are looking for someone who is a trained care assistant, preferably with previous experience in care and support work.
As both computer and phone are used as work tools, you need to have good digital skills. The job also involves documentation and communication with various parties, which requires you to have a good command of the Swedish language in both speech and writing. A driver's license for a car (B) is a requirement for the position.
As a person, you see opportunities, take initiative, and are happy to share your knowledge and experiences with colleagues. You contribute to a positive work environment and have the ability to distinguish between the personal and the professional in interactions with others.
You are analytical and easily see connections and find solutions to complex situations. Your approach is characterized by a sense of service, calmness, attentiveness, and willingness to help.
Furthermore, you are independent and dare to act based on your own convictions. You are loyal, have a positive attitude towards work and the organization, and understand your role and mission in a larger context. You see the whole picture and contribute to the overall best of the organization.
