The Home Care Service Center 1 is looking for two dedicated Nursing Assistants who want to work with us to create a high-quality home care service.

The administration should be characterized by respect, consideration, and dialogue; for us, the relationship is important!

The home care service is currently divided into several different home care groups throughout Vänersborg, and the various units together form a whole. Home Care Center, Sundsgatan 33, is divided into two groups with two group leaders and two unit managers, who together work in a common cluster. Together, we work for a cohesive home care service.

Your work will be scheduled continuously with 8-week intervals. For a sustainable work life, you can influence your schedule through requests. You have 11 hours of night rest in the schedule. You have scheduled working hours, which means day, evening, and every other weekend.

We are looking for nursing assistants for permanent employment.

Job Responsibilities

As a nursing assistant in home care, you will be part of the daily work at the unit. You will work based on the Social Services Act 4 chapter 1 § and our goal is to strengthen or provide opportunities for users to live an independent life. The tasks are varied and can also be complex based on the users' needs.

As a nursing assistant in home care, you will work with standard tasks within care and support. You will work closely with users on care tasks and be a support in their daily lives. Our mission is to strengthen users' opportunities to live an independent life based on their own resources, abilities, and needs, as well as to uphold the intentions of our values. Your professional role also includes performing delegated health and medical care tasks, being part of a contact team around the user, advocacy roles, social documentation, and contributing to the development of the organization.

Alarms are part of home care, and one of four alarm vehicles is based at Sundsgatan 33. Together with the Southern home care service, we staff the alarm vehicle between 07:00 – 22:00. When staffing the alarm vehicle, the main task is to respond to alarms, and you will not be included in the regular daily planning.

We work in various digital systems to facilitate and ensure good quality in the tasks. Our planning and documentation system is LifeCare Planning and LifeCare Mobile Care (LMO). We have MCSS for signing delegated health and medical care tasks, as well as digital locks and medication cabinets in the homes of our care recipients.

Service tasks such as cleaning, laundry, and shopping are performed by an external actor, which means that you as a nursing assistant can focus more on providing care services. Since we work in ordinary housing, you may work in homes where there are pets and smoking.

Qualifications

You should have a positive view of people, be calm and secure in yourself, and have a good ability to work both independently and in a team. You should also be able to build relationships with others, be flexible, have a good attitude, be easy to collaborate with, and be responsive to the care recipient's needs.

You need to be proficient in the Swedish language in both spoken and written form and have basic technical knowledge such as handling mobile phones, apps, and computers. We place great importance on personal suitability.

You have completed the Care and Nursing Program, and we prefer that you have several years of experience in similar tasks. Upon employment, you will need to present proof of the right to use the title of nursing assistant.

A B driver's license and cycling experience are required.
