As the Department Manager for Insulation at Meccom, you will have a strategic role where you are responsible for the entire process – from project planning to project execution in areas such as pipe and ventilation insulation, sound insulation, as well as insulation of tanks and boilers. You will work closely with both customers and your employees to ensure that our solutions meet high technical requirements and are delivered on time and within budget. With a focus on leading projects and identifying opportunities for upselling, you will be a key person in Meccom's continued growth.

We are looking for someone with experience in project management and who is accustomed to leading teams in technical environments. Your role will be crucial in ensuring a high level of quality and safety in every project, and with your knowledge of technical insulation, you will contribute to driving our business forward.

Responsibilities:

• Be responsible for technical insulation of pipelines, tanks, exhaust ducts, and boilers.
• Lead and plan insulation projects, including sound insulation, sheet metal cladding, and mattress insulation.
• Customer contact from pre-sales to project completion, as well as responsibility for driving upselling and developing new customer relationships.
• Project management with responsibility for technical and economic decisions, including calculations, quotations, and contract negotiations.
• Supervision and personnel responsibility, including recruitment, skills development, and resource planning for the department.
• Ensure that projects are executed according to budget and schedule, and be responsible for regular financial follow-up and reporting to management.

Qualifications:

• Several years of experience in project management within technical insulation.
• Good knowledge of insulation of piping systems, tanks, and ventilation ducts, as well as sheet metal cladding and mattress insulation.
• Experience in leading and developing teams and managing complex customer relationships.
• Fluency in English, both spoken and written, as well as good knowledge of technical drawing interpretation.
• Basic computer skills and experience working with financial tracking systems.
