In the role of estimator, you will work with all parts of the process from inquiry to handover. After the handover, you will contribute with your expertise to support production in matters related to the bid. The tasks also include coordinating documentation and materials, estimating work, and reporting.

You will be part of our estimating team with members from our organization. Your focus will be on our installation business area, which consists of electrical and fiber projects, both large and small, as well as service.

Responsibilities

• Market monitoring
• Quantity take-off
• Manage and create templates and bids
• Collaboration and partial management of design in the bidding phase for the development of estimable documents
• Work with inquiries and estimating
• Documentation of conditions during site visits related to bidding work
• Prepare specifications, inquiry documents, materials, and evaluate incoming offers.
• Calculate costs for changes in projects
• Plan and follow up on projects together with the business area manager and project leaders.

We would like you to have competencies and experiences such as ...

• Experience as an estimator in infrastructure and electrical installations
• Experience with project sizes of 5 million SEK and above.
• Work as an estimator for at least 2-3 years, with 1-3 years of experience in production as a Foreman, Project Manager, or Construction Engineer being advantageous
• Experience in infrastructure and electrical installation is a plus
• Education: post-secondary education, university or college degree, vocational training, or equivalent work experience in the field.
