We are now looking for 2 support assistants who want to contribute to a meaningful everyday life and leisure for 5 individuals living at Lötsjövägen 55 Group Home in Sundbyberg. One of the positions is a fixed-term employment for 6 months as we have an employee who will be studying from January to June. In addition, we are looking for a permanent full-time position.

Your tasks will primarily involve providing practical and pedagogical support, mainly given in the individual's home (but support can also be provided elsewhere if the individual needs it). We work based on the individual's needs and constantly strive to fulfill their wishes and dreams. The work is also guided by a government assignment with set goals and the individual's implementation plan.

As a support assistant at Lötsjövägen 55 group home, you embody the vision, values, and principles of Sundbyberg municipality. You will work pedagogically and individually tailored, by coaching, supporting, and being present in all moments and activities concerning the resident and as desired by the resident. Based on this, the need for support may arise in situations performed outdoors or that are physically demanding.

We want you to have a care education with a focus on disabilities, preferably support assistant training or other education deemed equivalent by the employer. If you have additional training in autism or psychiatry, this is an advantage.

Other desirable qualifications include:

• Knowledge and experience of working with low-arousal methods and associated tools, AAC, TEACCH, and other pedagogical methods.
• Previous experience of working systematically according to clear routines.
• Previous handling of problem-causing and outwardly aggressive behavior based on risk assessments and action plans.
