Description of the Research Group

The research group Mental Health, Activity, and Participation (PAD) is located at the Department of Health Sciences, Faculty of Medicine at Lund University.

The research group consists of both senior and junior researchers from various professional fields such as occupational therapy and public health science. The research group is part of the national research network CEPI (Center for Evidence-Based Psychosocial Interventions) and the research program UserInvolve (Forte). The mission of the interdisciplinary research group PAD includes education, research, and knowledge dissemination to the surrounding community. PAD strives for a trusting and personal work environment that fosters community. The research group has extensive experience in basic research on living conditions for people with experiences of mental illness, preventive and recovery-oriented interventions, as well as implementation research, focusing on both user influence and practical relevance. We are now seeking a project administrator for two of our research projects: “Development of a Framework for Mental Health on Campus at Lund University” and “Promoting Mental Health in Generation Z.”

Job Responsibilities and Areas of Responsibility

As a project administrator, you will work on two research projects focusing on health promotion and prevention. One project aims to develop a framework for mental health on campus at Lund University, and the other project aims to develop and evaluate an e-health solution to promote young adults' mental health. These projects aim to strengthen mental health and prevent ill health among young adults, thereby contributing to a more sustainable societal development, where well-being and social sustainability are central aspects. Your tasks will include literature searches, material development, as well as assisting in data collection, transcription, and data analysis. The job also includes writing reports and assisting in the drafting of ethics applications. Other related tasks may also occur during the employment.

Requirements for Employment:

  • Higher education of at least 240 credits in health sciences with a focus on health promotion or equivalent education
  • Excellent knowledge of Swedish and English, both spoken and written
  • Very good computer skills and knowledge of IBM SPSS Statistics, Microsoft Office, and Adobe
  • Experience and knowledge in digital creation, including work in Canva and Figma
  • Experience and knowledge of e-health solutions and various learning platforms
  • Experience working administratively in research projects
  • Experience in qualitative and quantitative methods as well as academic writing
  • Ability to work independently and a flexible ability to work systematically towards set goals within given time frames
  • Proven experience in engaging with young adults with integrity, empathy, and professionalism

Significant weight will be placed on personal qualities such as independence, initiative, and collaboration skills.

Meritorious for Employment:

  • Master's degree in medical science with a focus on global health

The position is a special fixed-term employment of 50% starting as soon as possible and lasting until 2026-12-31.
