The position is a summer temporary position, so we wish that you are available for work between weeks 25-33. Securitas will assign you a schedule so you can plan your summer with both work and fun activities in good time! Whether you want to work day or night, in a fast-paced or calm environment, Securitas has the job for you.

Working as a guard is perfect for you who enjoy working with people and helping them in their daily lives. As a guard at our office in Filipstad, you will become part of a close-knit team. The length of shifts varies, but they are often 12-hour shifts either day or night. The schedule also includes work on weekends.

The positions involve both stationary and patrolling guards, but mainly patrolling guards where the working hours are primarily at night. As a patrolling guard, you are responsible for performing surveillance at several clients during your shift. You travel between clients by car and carry out various types of checks, including area surveillance, internal patrols, alarm connections, and closures at clients. In the role, it is important to document your work and any deviations you encounter. The work is independent and often perceived as free, but with a great responsibility. The role of a patrolling guard is suitable for you who want a position where you can move around.

As a stationary guard, you provide security on-site at one of our clients. Depending on which client you are with, the tasks may vary. You may work as a receptionist at a larger company or perform surveillance in the form of checking those who pass in and out, patrolling, alarm management, and camera surveillance. Regardless of which client you work for, your main task is to be observant and ensure that everything is in order. You work independently and under your own responsibility, usually during the day.

• Approved grades in Swedish and English from the first year of high school
• Driving license B

It is an advantage if you

• have worked with similar tasks before
• have a civilian or military security guard training

For employment within Securitas Sweden AB, it is required that you have approved grades from high school in Swedish and English and are approved by the County Administrative Board for employment in an authorized security company according to the Act (1974:191) on security companies (the application is made by Securitas). Depending on the position, security clearance according to the Security Protection Act (2018:585) may also become relevant. To investigate and assess whether you meet the requirements to be approved according to each regulation, a background check is conducted. The assessment concerns compliance with the law, suitability, reliability, loyalty, and any vulnerabilities. Information obtained may come from you, open sources, or authorities. Salary and employment conditions are based on the collective agreement between the employer organization Security Companies and the Swedish Transport Workers' Union.
