University of Borås is looking for a substitute teacher in health and social care administration

Your tasks

In this role, you will teach in our programs within the main area of health and social care administration. This includes courses at the bachelor's level, such as Leadership and Organization in Health and Social Care and Leadership Training for Managers in Elderly Care. Teaching in other courses may also occur.

As a substitute teacher, your main tasks will consist of teaching in the form of lectures, seminars, supervision, and examination at the undergraduate level. In addition, you will work with course planning, course development, preparation of teaching materials, as well as follow-up and quality assurance of courses.

The position also includes administrative time, including participation in meetings, as well as time for professional development.

Your qualifications

You have a master's degree, primarily in health and social care administration or another closely related main area. Alternatively, the degree may be in health science, public administration, or another area relevant to the position. In addition, you have demonstrated pedagogical skills and experience in teaching at a college or university level, preferably within the health and social care administration field, such as leadership training in health and social care.

To succeed in the role, you also need to have the ability for clear communication and good knowledge of Swedish and English, both spoken and written. You also have good collaboration skills, initiative, and the ability to work independently.

It is meritorious to have:

• experience working in a health and social care context
• experience in a leadership position/assignment in a health and social care context
• a master's degree in a relevant area for the position.

Your employment

Part-time substitute (75%) until September 30, 2026.
Start date: April 1, 2026, or by agreement.
