Änggården is located in a magical environment, just a stone's throw from the sparkling sea on the western side of Orust. Surrounding the house is lush nature, a football field for sports lovers, a lovely swimming area, and easy-to-navigate walking paths. Outside the house, there is a cozy veranda and a patio at the back with a grill and space for gardening – perfect for growing both vegetables and community!

Indoors, you will find a calm, impression-sanitized, and inspiring educational environment, with a creative studio, a gym for movement and play, a spa for recovery, and several group rooms where ideas can flourish. There is room for seven children for short-term stays, and the resource school welcomes around ten students – a small, safe, and lovely place where everyone can feel at home.

Your responsibilities

We are now looking for a dedicated teacher/special teacher for Änggården's resource school who feels confident in meeting and teaching students in grades 1–9 who need special support. The work involves group teaching with significant individual variation and adaptation. Together with teachers, resource educators, the school social team, and the student health team, you will be part of a close collaboration to create the best conditions based on each student's needs. You will plan, follow up, and document the students' knowledge development and maintain continuous contact with our students' guardians. You will work towards an accessible physical, social, and pedagogical learning environment for our students, use a calm and low-arousal approach, and contribute to creating a manageable, understandable, and meaningful school day. Of course, you will also contribute to the development of the group, stay updated on new research, and actively participate in analyses and reflections as part of the school's systematic quality work.

About you

We are looking for a licensed teacher and/or special teacher with qualifications to teach some core subjects in grades 1–9. It is advantageous if you have experience working with students in need of special support and problematic school absenteeism.
