Prismaskolan offers bright premises inspired by Lake Vänern and the surrounding nature. The facilities are designed to provide opportunities for flexible teaching where school and after-school care collaborate. There is a large schoolyard with opportunities for various activities. The school is located in a picturesque area near the center of Mariestad. The collaboration within the work team is central to making the best use of our different professions.

We are now looking for a qualified and dedicated teacher for teaching in grades F-6. The position is a longer temporary contract until August 2026.

RESPONSIBILITIES

As a classroom teacher, you will be responsible together with two other educators for one of the grades F-6, where the tasks include planning, implementation, and evaluation of the teaching. You will belong to a work team consisting of 15 people.

With commitment and enthusiasm, you create a safe learning environment that stimulates students to joyful learning and personal responsibility. Staying up to date with developments in the educational field is a natural part of the teacher's role. The role includes mentorship, which means you will have closer contact with a group of students and their guardians, as well as their development discussions.

QUALIFICATIONS

We are looking for someone who is a certified teacher for grades F-6. It is an advantage if you also have previous teaching experience. We see that you are an engaged team player with a strong drive to further develop the school's work together with colleagues, student health, and school management.

As a person, you are confident in your role and have a good ability to build trust and relationships with students, guardians, and colleagues. You are flexible, solution-oriented, and have a positive attitude. You communicate easily and express yourself well in both spoken and written language. Digital tools are used in the educational activities for documentation and development, so your experience with digital tools is important. In your professional role, you are a clear leader and demonstrate a professional demeanor.
