JOB RESPONSIBILITIES

Warm welcome to apply for a position in our pedagogical team at Litteratur Torgets Preschool. Our goal is to make a difference for every child, every day!

We are a newly built preschool located centrally in Backa. We currently have 4 departments but will expand to 6 departments by August 2025. If you are curious and full of ideas, we are in the process of building our environments, which is an exciting journey to be part of.

At our preschool, we base our work on our profession and good interactions at all levels. We want a permissive climate where cooperation between home and preschool promotes each child's development and learning. With the child at the center, you have the opportunity to contribute with your competence and engagement. You will base your work on the preschool's governing documents, and together with your team, you will plan, implement, and evaluate the activities and the educational environment that promotes safety, play, and learning. We wish for you to have a passion for language and the importance of integrating language and literature into everyday life.

QUALIFICATIONS

We are looking for you who are a licensed preschool teacher and are well acquainted with the preschool's governing documents. The role requires you to express yourself well in both speech and writing. You may have several years of experience or be new to the profession. If you are a newly graduated preschool teacher, you will receive a mentor upon your employment. The mentor is part of a central group and is tasked with helping you get a good start in your professional life with us. Experience with children who need extra adaptations and support, as well as a passion for the role of language, is an advantage.

As a person, we are looking for a positive and driven preschool teacher with good pedagogical skills and an approach that benefits both the operation and the common work environment. You see development and collaboration as important parts of maintaining and developing good quality. You appreciate structure and order and are proficient in ongoing digital documentation work. Educators work continuously in collegial learning, both in cross-groups and in their own teams.
