The Role of Nurse

With us, you will have a varied job that includes telephone counseling, as well as the opportunity to run your own clinic for asthma/COPD, heart failure, blood pressure, diabetes, or district nurse clinic. We are open to utilizing your skills and wishes and also offer further education where needed. Some shifts during evenings and weekends may occur at the Emergency Care Unit in Eksjö.

Nässjö Health Center is part of the Bra Liv Health Centers and belongs to the regionally driven primary care. Our goal is "better health for all," which we achieve by showing care, thinking holistically, and creating quality.

Our team at Nässjö Health Center currently consists of about 60 employees in various professional roles, and the health center has approximately 15,000 registered patients. Our premises also house the Nässjö Education Center, where we introduce internationally trained doctors to the Swedish primary care system and conduct various types of competency development initiatives for our employees.

Nässjö, with a population of about 31,000 residents, is located along the railway between Malmö and Stockholm, thus having excellent connections to the entire country. From Nässjö, you can also easily drive to Jönköping in about 30 minutes, where a wide range of cultural and entertainment options are available. There is also a university.

Your Profile

We are now looking for you, a nurse who wants to further develop and strengthen our health center. We view previous experience in primary care and clinic work positively. You have a genuine interest in people and put the patient in focus. We expect you to contribute your skills and a good attitude together with your colleagues to provide the best possible care for the patient. You thrive in your professional role, are engaged, and contribute to a good work climate as you have initiative, are flexible, and have a sense of responsibility. You will become part of a wonderful team at the health center, where we work together for a pleasant work environment and do our best for the patient. Great emphasis is placed on personal suitability.
