About the workplace

Solbacken Omsorg AB is a family business in its third generation with roots dating back to 1929. We offer housing for adults with autism spectrum disorders and intellectual disabilities within the framework of LSS. Our five group homes and two daily activities are run by approximately 80 dedicated employees who work every day to create safety, quality of life, and meaningfulness for our clients. We work evidence-based with short decision-making paths and close dialogue between management and staff.

About the role

As a nurse at Solbacken Omsorg AB, you will work to enable individuals to live as independently as possible. You will work health-promoting and supportive with a focus on the clients' health and quality of life. You will work independently but in close collaboration with care staff, team leaders, unit managers, and the operations manager. The work involves assessing, planning, implementing, and evaluating health and medical care interventions according to the Health and Medical Care Act. You will be responsible for medication management, care planning, follow-up, and documentation in the journal system. You will guide, educate, and delegate health and medical care tasks to care staff and contribute to a safe and competent care environment.

The work is varied with both planned and acute interventions. You will collaborate closely with clients, relatives, colleagues, and external care providers such as primary care and specialist care. As the responsible nurse for patients (PAS), you will be responsible for continuity and coordination of interventions around each client. In your role, you will work both preventively and health-promoting with a focus on the client's overall well-being and quality of life.

Qualifications and desirable experiences

We are looking for a licensed nurse with good knowledge of current legislation. You have good computer skills and documentation habits as well as good knowledge of the Swedish language, both spoken and written. A B driver's license is required as our operations are located in Burseryd and Smålandsstenar.

It is an advantage if you have several years of experience as a nurse or have experience working within LSS, psychiatry, or similar fields. It is also advantageous if you have further education in psychiatry and the right to prescribe medication.

To succeed in your role, you are confident and self-sufficient in your professional role, empathetic, flexible, and solution-oriented. You have good collaboration skills, are clear in your communication, and find it easy to build trusting relationships. You are structured, plan and prioritize with good judgment, and contribute to a positive work environment.
