The Role of the Nurse

As a nurse with us, you will work in a team-based manner providing specialized palliative care to patients and their relatives. Collaboration with municipal home healthcare, various clinics in inpatient care, and primary care are important parts of our work. In addition, handling, counseling, and education are significant aspects of our mission. We highly value making every encounter with patients, relatives, and our partners as positive as possible based on the resources and needs at hand.

The position is permanent and full-time, currently during daytime from Monday to Friday. Start date by agreement. Your workplace is at Ryhov County Hospital in Jönköping.

Your Future Workplace

Specialized Home Healthcare (SSIH) is tasked with providing good specialized palliative care to patients and their relatives. SSIH is part of the medical care area in the Region of Jönköping County and is a county-wide unit based at our hospitals in Eksjö, Jönköping, and Värnamo. We work person-centered in teams with nurses, doctors, and social workers.

Your Profile

We are looking for a licensed nurse with experience in the field. You have a strong interest in developing palliative care in the Region of Jönköping County. If you have a specialist nursing education in palliative care, we value that highly, but it is not a requirement; there are opportunities for further education within the organization. A driver's license is required for the position.
