Description

We are looking for 2 licensed nurses, one to be placed in special housing/home care in Bredaryd and one in home care in Forsheda.

Responsibilities

The work involves being responsible for health and medical care interventions in municipal healthcare. You will be responsible for both planned and acute health and medical care interventions for both younger and older patients.

As a nurse, you will independently make medical assessments, treatments, and actions. Since patients' care needs differ, the tasks vary from common interventions such as medication management, sampling, and wound treatments to more advanced interventions like dialysis, infusions, and management of tracheostomy, CVK/venous ports, and drainage. You will have support from specialists in palliative advanced care, wound care, and psychiatric coordination. We also have access to a methodology where some training is conducted. There, you can also renew your knowledge.

Together with colleagues, you will work in a team to ensure the best quality for those we serve. You need to be able to work independently and make your own decisions. Being attentive and empathetic is natural for you, as is having a holistic view in your work with people. Your work will mostly be during the day, but some evening and weekend shifts are included.

Qualifications

As a nurse in Värnamo Municipality, you need to have good knowledge of Swedish, both spoken and written.

As a person, you are calm and secure and have the ability to create a positive climate. You are attentive and empathetic and have an easy time collaborating both internally and externally. You are good at planning and organizing and prioritize your work independently and efficiently. Patient involvement and collaboration with relatives are self-evident for you. Creating a good work environment built on a strong team spirit is important to us. We place great emphasis on personal suitability.
