Assignment

We are now looking for a specialist nursing assistant in dementia for our dementia department at Holmagården, which is a special accommodation in Svedala with 44 places distributed over four departments. Within our operation, there is also a day center that serves as a pleasant meeting place for our seniors in the municipality.

As a specialist nursing assistant in dementia, you are a key person in the team and contribute with your in-depth knowledge about dementia diseases, interaction, and person-centered care. You work both practically with daily care and support for relatives, as well as with guidance to develop working methods within the operation. Your role also includes designing implementation plans, documenting, conducting regular evaluations, and contributing to maintaining good quality in the operation.

By addressing each individual's needs, you contribute to a meaningful and pleasant everyday life for our elderly. We follow up on quality in national registers such as BPSD and Senior Alert, and documentation is done in Lifecare. In daily care and support work, you collaborate with other professionals such as dementia nurses, registered nurses, physiotherapists, and occupational therapists.

Qualifications

We are looking for someone who is a trained nursing assistant with further education as a specialist nursing assistant in dementia. You have several years of professional experience as a nursing assistant, good digital skills, and strong knowledge of Swedish in both speech and writing. Experience in dementia care and working in operational systems such as Lifecare, MCSS, BPSD, and Senior Alert is an advantage.

To succeed in the role, you should have a genuine interest in people and a strong sense of good care. You are responsible and find it easy to work independently while contributing to good collaboration. We welcome new ideas and perspectives that can develop our operation.

Working hours/duration

Permanent employment with start date according to agreement.

Full-time employment.

Work during day and evening hours as well as every other weekend.
