Beroendecentrum Stockholm is looking for a unit manager for the Help Line

Beroendecentrum Stockholm is Sweden's largest addiction clinic. We provide support and assistance to individuals with problems related to alcohol, drugs, medications, or gambling. Our services include emergency and inpatient care, local outpatient care, and highly specialized treatment. We also operate as a university hospital and engage in research and education.

The Workplace

Within Beroendecentrum Stockholm, there is the Help Line, a national support line that offers anonymous support, 24/7, via web and phone.

The Help Line is aimed at individuals seeking support for their mental health as well as their relatives. The service is funded by the Public Health Agency of Sweden and is located at St Göran's hospital area, having started in December 2024.

The Work

The Help Line has grown and developed over the past year, and we are therefore looking for a unit manager for the operation. We seek a manager with commitment, presence, and strategic insight, who can drive the operation together with a team of employees consisting of nurses, social workers, and psychologists. The role includes operational and strategic responsibility for the Help Line, as well as providing advice via phone and web. The Help Line operates in close collaboration with eSupport's support lines Alcohol Help and Drug Help. There is ample support within the organization to carry out your work as a manager, and as a unit manager at the Help Line, you will participate in the development of the support line services.

Qualifications

Licensed nurse, psychologist, doctor, or health and medical care curator with relevant experience. Previous experience as a manager and work with driving and developing support line services is a requirement; experience in psychiatry and around-the-clock operations is highly meritorious.

Employment Form

Manager appointment for three years, full-time, permanent employment in the basic profession.

• in addition to Swedish professional licensing, good knowledge of the Swedish language at level C1 according to the Common European Framework of Reference (CEFR) is required. The same requirements apply to non-licensed personnel with patient contact.
