About the Role

As a foreman at Mariestadsblommor, you will lead a workforce of 10–30 employees depending on the season. You will work closely with the other three team leaders and also have some contact with suppliers. Your tasks will include planning cultivation, planting, watering, packing, and caring for plants. You will also perform some scheduling, purchasing, and sales over time.

About You

To succeed in the role of foreman, we believe you have a strong interest in cultivating potted plants. You have previous experience in agriculture, cultivation, or equivalent. You are fluent in Swedish and English, both spoken and written, and hold a B driver's license and have access to your own car. It is advantageous if you have previous experience in leadership roles. As a person, you are proactive, practical, and responsible with an eye for order and tidiness. You are communicative, driven, and socially oriented. The work involves some heavier lifting, which means you should have good physical fitness and not be afraid to work physically.

Requirements:

• Work experience in plant cultivation, agriculture, or equivalent
• Swedish and English proficiency in speaking and writing
• B driver's license

Preferred:

• Previous experience in leadership roles
• Relevant theoretical education

Mariestadsblommor AB is one of Western Sweden's largest producers of potted plants, with a greenhouse area of over 20,000 square meters. The first greenhouse was built in 1963 and initially produced tomatoes. Since 1968, Mariestadsblommor AB has cultivated potted plants and now offers a wide range of plants. They have production year-round, and their assortment includes geraniums and other outdoor plants, begonias, poinsettias, amaryllis, streptocarpus, herbs, and much more.
