The palliative department offers a challenging job with fantastic and supportive colleagues with many years of professional experience.

Here, patients with complex symptoms in the end stages of life are cared for. We are an unpretentious and cheerful team where nurses, nursing assistants, doctors, and paramedics work together with the patient in focus; a good approach towards patients and relatives is something we highly value.

In the palliative department, 9 patients are cared for, all in single rooms, and there is an opportunity for relatives to stay overnight. Since we care for patients in a palliative stage, they have different needs, and based on these needs, we strive to provide the best individualized care by supporting, listening, being present, comforting, and relieving.
