Paddan Sightseeing has been operating sightseeing activities on board our so-called "Paddan boats" since 1939, navigating Gothenburg's beautiful canals and harbor. Paddan is one of about 30 brands within the Strömma Turism & Sjöfart AB group, one of Scandinavia's largest experience companies with a strong connection to Swedish tourism history.

For the 2026 season, we are looking for more genuine and engaged guides who can make the entire experience with us at Paddan Sightseeing a memory for life. As a guide, you are an ambassador for Paddan and the city of Gothenburg, showcasing and enthusiastically telling the story of the city to our guests. Together with your colleagues, you will deliver world-class service and hospitality. This requires a person with excellent language skills, charisma, and the ability to convey stories in an engaging way to large and small groups of visitors. Is that you?

• Seasonal work (full-/part-time) starting in the spring or summer, with the possibility of extension or extra work from September to December.

YOU ARE:

• An open and outgoing person who has the ability to connect with people of different ages and backgrounds.
• Focused and ambitious - even under stressful circumstances, you manage to provide guests with a professional reception.
• A humble team player who contributes to a positive atmosphere in your surroundings.

YOU HAVE:

• Very well-developed communication skills and speak fluent Swedish and English.
• Experience in service-oriented work, preferably with personal customer contact.
• The right profile. Your personality is your primary working tool and will be crucial for employment.

AND WE BELIEVE YOU ALSO HAVE:

• Upcoming or recently started college/university studies.
• Worked/studied abroad.
• Cash handling experience and experience in sales-oriented work.
• Experience with the sea and boating.
• Availability to work full-time or extra during spring and autumn.
• Other language skills.
