Maintenance Technician – Åstorp

We are looking for an experienced and dedicated maintenance technician for our client in Åstorp, who wants to work in an advanced production environment with close collaboration between R&D, industrialization, and production.

Responsibilities

As a maintenance technician, you will work practically with maintenance, troubleshooting, and optimization of production equipment. The role includes both preventive and corrective maintenance of:

•        Production machines and automated equipment

•        HVAC, plumbing, and cooling systems

•        The facility's electrical and water supply

You will perform troubleshooting and repair of mechanical, electrical, and automated systems, as well as provide support during installation, adjustment, and commissioning of equipment for pilot runs and introduction of new products. The work also includes documentation of maintenance activities and technical observations in the maintenance system. The position is full-time, during daytime, and located in Åstorp.

Requirements

• ·     At least 3 years of experience in industrial maintenance or technical service

• ·       Competence in mechatronics, mechanics, electronics, hydraulics, and/or pneumatics

• ·       Good knowledge of HVAC, plumbing, and cooling systems

• ·       Practical experience with hand tools, soldering, welding, pipe bending, refilling, and assembly

• ·       Good knowledge of English, both spoken and written

Experience in automation, PLC troubleshooting, or robotics is a merit.

Personal Qualities

You work in a structured manner and take initiative for both preventive and corrective maintenance, ensuring follow-up of completed actions. You work well both in teams and independently and have a well-developed communicative ability.

A driver's license and access to a car are required for travel to and from the workplace.
