The Culture Unit is looking for café staff for Ornässtugan

Ornässtugan has a museum where guided tours are offered, as well as a café where everything is baked on-site. We have a special focus on local historical pastries and baked goods that are gluten-free, egg-free, and dairy-free.

JOB RESPONSIBILITIES

The café work includes preparing sandwiches, pastries, dishwashing, and sales. Cash handling, local and area maintenance are also part of the job.

Working hours: scheduled shifts, including Saturdays, Sundays, and holidays.

The position is a temporary employment from June to August 2026. New staff will receive training during the first working days.

QUALIFICATIONS

Experience in café or food service is an advantage. We prefer applicants with an interest in café, service, tourism, history, and culture.

A requirement is very good language skills in Swedish and good skills in English, necessary for interaction with both international and national visitors.

We are looking for someone who is service-oriented, meticulous, flexible, and enjoys working in a fast-paced environment, both independently and with others. We are a small team where everyone's work is important.

During the interview, you as a candidate need to present proof of citizenship in Sweden/EU/EES or a valid work residence permit.
