Åkerblads Gästgiveri, Hotel & Spa is a family-owned hotel business located in beautiful Tällberg, Dalarna. The estate has been in the Åkerblad family since the 1400s, and today the 19th – 22nd generations of Åkerblad work together with a strong team of 50 to provide guests with a memorable experience. Experiences are our keyword; it is what we convey to guests from the moment they check in until they long to return to the sparkling waters of Siljan. Our goal is to deliver a unique product, which is reflected not only in the historic premises but also in the hotel’s 73 guest rooms, each personally decorated and none alike. Our restaurant works with locally produced ingredients and personal flavors, catering to both conference guests and weekend visitors. The hotel is currently classified with four stars and is focused on continuous development, where quality and service are our guiding principles.

Waitress/Waiter, 1 position, extra employment

Your responsibilities…

As a Waiter/Waitress, you will be part of a team that works to serve and meet our guests' high demands.

Your main responsibilities include serving food and drinks to both lunch and dinner guests. Lunches are offered as buffet and plated service, while dinners are dominated by our constantly updated à la carte menu.

Your role includes preparation and restoration of the dining room, such as setting up tables, dishwashing, polishing, etc. There may also be some bar work, and most importantly, ensuring our fantastic guests have a great time.

Competence profile…

You have work experience in à la carte service and a good knowledge of wines.

Your most important qualities include good teamwork skills, being an essential part of a cohesive team, and the ability to work quickly and prioritize while meeting the management's quality requirements.

We place great emphasis on personal chemistry, professional pride, and your interest in keeping up with the industry's constant development.
