The Service Administration is Falu Municipality's provider of internal service and ancillary services according to an FM concept, local supply, and management of most of the municipality's properties. The mission is to support the municipality's various activities by providing suitable and functional premises, tasty and nutritious meals, vehicles, and transportation services along with several ancillary services. Falu Municipality is regionally the leading public employer in developing FM services and support based on BIM. This development occurs in both construction and management.

Eating habits and attitudes towards food are often established at a young age. Good and nutritious food provides a solid foundation for development and a healthy, active life. Quality meals are essential to enhance children's and young people's ability to learn and benefit from educational activities. We, who are employed within the service administration, work to ensure that children and students are offered good and nutritious food prepared with great care.

Job Responsibilities

We are looking for a full-time chef for Hosjöskolan. You will work alongside two colleagues and prepare meals for approximately 300 students and staff. We are looking for someone with experience in large-scale cooking and knowledge of special diets.

You will be responsible, along with the team, for the quality and safety of the food. The tasks rotate and may also include administration, such as statistics, orders, and self-control.

We expect you to prioritize excellent service.

Qualifications

The following is required for the role:

• Education in large kitchen/restaurant or work experience deemed equivalent by the employer
• Good knowledge, education/experience in special diets
• Good computer skills, as we use computers to support daily work
• Good ability to express yourself in Swedish, both orally and in writing

You should be able to solve problems, work independently, and take responsibility, but also collaborate with colleagues and others. Desirable Qualifications

• Education and experience in diet cooking (special diets)
• Experience in large-scale kitchens and production kitchens
• Good knowledge of the dietary data system Matilda
• Driving license B

The position is a permanent full-time position.
