Quality Hotel Galaxen, Dalarna's largest meeting, conference, and entertainment center. The hotel is located in central Borlänge – close to entertainment, culture, transportation, and shopping. Here you stay in wonderfully modern rooms and enjoy a good dinner at our restaurant Flying. The hotel has everything under one roof – perfect for both creative conferences and cozy family weekends. From the hotel, it is only a 10-minute drive to Dala Airport and Borlänge Central Station is just 800 meters away.

We are currently looking for a driven chef with an eye for quality, details, and experiences. You are driven by collaboration, openness, and the insight to take full ownership not only for your area but for the guest's overall experience. Always and every time!

You are the one we are looking for:

  • You have worked with large volumes and logistics
  • You are quality-conscious and have good knowledge of Swedish and European cuisine.
  • Contribute to enhancing the quality of life for guests and employees.
  • You must be energetic, courageous, and enthusiastic.
  • You are flexible, do not stress easily, and have a professional and personal approach towards colleagues and guests
  • Well-documented previous experience
  • The kitchen is a whole, therefore you must be a good team player
  • You can work individually and responsibly

Your role includes:

  • Being responsible and ensuring a good working climate where everyone supports each other both within their own department and between departments.
  • Actively working to promote a good feedback culture.
  • Being well-informed about the department's routines and obligations
  • Being updated and knowledgeable about the hotel's fire and safety routines.
  • Being updated and knowledgeable about the hotel's hygiene routines, self-control of food handling, and similar routines that apply within the kitchen.
  • Following the company's policies such as dress code which includes uniform (chef's clothes), name badge, moderate makeup, no jewelry, etc.
