Case Officer for Transport Services and Housing Adaptation Grant

Would you like to work as a case officer investigating transport services and housing adaptation grants?

We are looking for someone who wants to work in our friendly team, where you will be one of thirteen employees.

One of our skilled employees is leaving, so we are now looking for his successor. You are a person who enjoys working in a structured workplace. High demands are placed on your ability to collaborate and cooperate.

Following the law and adhering to processing routines is of utmost value, where you always have the user in the first room.

The unit consists of two teams. The team you will work closest with investigates LSS/SoL applications and follows up on granted services according to LSS and SoL; our target group is adults with disabilities under and over 65 years old.

The other team in the unit works with adult cases within IFO.

As an employee, you will be offered training, supervision, and method development.

RESPONSIBILITIES

As a case officer for transport services and national transport services, you will investigate the user's need for services according to the Transport Services Act (1997:736) and the National Transport Services Act (1997:735).

Investigations and decisions are recorded in Treserva, with authorization in Alfa Connect.

As a housing adaptation grant officer, you will investigate and make decisions regarding housing adaptation grants according to the Housing Adaptation Grant Act (2018:222).

Adaptations must comply with the National Board of Housing, Building and Planning's building regulations, depending on the adaptation.

This may involve contact with contractors, property owners, and relatives.

Depending on the type of adaptation, a power of attorney may be written to allow me to obtain quotes, order work, and review invoices.

Conduct inspections of completed adaptations before payment/disbursement.

You will make decisions on individual cases according to the delegation order. You are expected to be able to drive processes forward, and you will have the opportunity to work on continuous improvements and help develop the operations.

QUALIFICATIONS

Degree in occupational therapy, social work, or equivalent higher education.

You have experience with housing adaptation cases and transport services.

You have experience and knowledge regarding the authority's exercise for the target group.

You must be able to express yourself well in speech and writing, as there is a strong emphasis on authority exercise.

You need to be innovative, flexible, have good collaboration skills, and be adaptable.

Meritorious:

A driver's license is a plus.

You are stress-resistant, flexible in thought and action, have good collaboration skills while also being independent and proactive. You are good at structure and planning, can keep multiple balls in the air at the same time, and can handle demands from the environment without losing focus on the task.

Great emphasis will be placed on personal suitability.
