About us

The medical clinic at Nyköping Hospital has two departments, floors 7 and 8. On floor 8, there is also MIMA, where experienced nurses work as resources and support for the entire departments. Many of our nurses alternate between the departments and MIMA, providing a unique opportunity to develop broad competence in internal medicine and acute care.

We work with continuous improvements and deepened knowledge. Every other week we have knowledge coffee. We manage completely without staffing nurses – here, our own employees are the strength of our operations.

Your responsibilities

As a nurse with us, you will work in a care team with nursing assistants and doctors, which provides short decision-making paths and high patient safety. We primarily care for patients with cardiovascular diseases, kidney and lung diseases, as well as more severe infections. The department has cardiac monitoring, which means you will also gain experience caring for patients with arrhythmias or suspected heart attacks. With us, you will gain a broad competence base and the opportunity to grow – both in everyday life and through planned further education.

Your qualifications

We are looking for a licensed nurse. Experience in acute care, cardiac monitoring, or the Cosmic journal system is an advantage. As a person, you are secure, cooperative, and engaged. We place great importance on personal qualities.

Employment form

Permanent employment with start date according to agreement. Schedule includes days and evenings, 2 out of 5 weekends. Opportunity for night shifts for those who wish.

Newly graduated nurses are offered the region's introduction program.
