About Us

Welcome to us! Health Center Åsidan is looking for a specialist doctor in general medicine. The health center is a well-established, region-driven facility with approximately 12,000 registered inhabitants. The center is conveniently located near Nyköping Hospital, Nyköping train station, the E4 highway, Skavsta Airport, the sea, and nature, making it easy for commuting and perhaps a lunch walk.

Health Center Åsidan has about 50 employees who agree that the strengths of the health center are teamwork, which, with good collaboration, focuses on the patient's best interests. Here, doctors, nurses, district nurses, physiotherapists, occupational therapists, social workers, psychologists, psychotherapists, rehabilitation coordinators, nursing assistants, and medical secretaries work together. The medical team consists of specialist doctors and residents, as well as continuously one or two interns. At Health Center Åsidan, we work in teams, which means that the patient comes to the right resource at the right time. The goal for Åsidan is that all patients have a dedicated, named specialist doctor or resident.

Our mission includes responsibility for special housing, home care, and child health care, so there is room for side assignments depending on interest areas. With us, you will have a varied job where you meet patients of all ages, with different backgrounds and varying needs.

Your Responsibilities

The daily work at the health center includes an infection flow, an acute flow, an on-call doctor function that answers questions during the day, and you will have your own scheduled clinic. You will naturally collaborate with other professions at the health center and act as a supervisor for residents/interns. You are part of a medical team that develops primary care with a focus on quality, continuity, accessibility, and attractiveness.

Some on-call and standby duties are included.

Your Qualifications

• You are a licensed physician and a specialist in general medicine.
• You enjoy working independently with varied tasks.
• You have good collaboration skills and flexibility.
• You have experience working in a health center and are interested in development.
• A driver's license (B) is desirable but not required.

We place great importance on personal qualities.

Employment Type

Permanent employment, full-time or part-time, with start date by agreement.
