About the position

The Cancer Study Unit in Solna is one of five units at the Center for Clinical Cancer Studies (CKC) where a total of 100 people work with clinical studies, the majority being research nurses. This position is primarily aimed at studies conducted within urological cancer.

As a research nurse with us, you will be part of a team of 25 other research nurses and six research assistants. The team works together with our researching doctors, both to initiate studies and to conduct studies within all diagnoses treated in the Cancer Theme in Solna.

The work involves closely collaborating with the responsible doctor to initiate and manage clinical trials where you act as the project manager for the study. In this role, you will include patients in our ongoing studies together with doctors and follow the patients during their participation. You will administer tablet study treatments, perform various checks, manage research samples, follow up with patients, and enter data. You will also collaborate with sponsors and other stakeholders involved in the clinical studies and participate in various quality controls (monitoring). At the unit, we have a standardized working method to follow the regulations governing clinical trials.

This is a full-time position with work scheduled during the day.

Qualifications

Requirements:

  • Licensed nurse
  • At least 3 years of work experience as a nurse
  • Good knowledge of Swedish and English

Meritorious:

  • Previous work in cancer care
  • Previous work as a research nurse
  • Other experience with clinical trials.
