Your responsibilities

As a pawnbroker at Sefina, you will be an important part of our team. Your main responsibilities include appraising and lending against valuable items (everything from watches to jewelry and art), customer service, sales, and administration. Additionally, you will prepare auctions, conduct inventories, reporting, and participate in development projects. Since this is a part-time role, you will help support the store during illnesses and vacations.

As a pawnbroker, you are Sefina's face to the public and meet a large number of customers daily, both in-store and digitally. You are responsible for ensuring that customers' valuable items are appraised and lent correctly and stored with utmost care and security.

To work with us, you need to be over 18 years old and have completed your high school diploma. Since customer service is always a priority, it is important that you have experience working in retail, reception, banking, or similar roles, and are passionate about providing exceptional service. It is a great advantage if you have cash handling experience and have worked with the most common valuable items found in our stores. However, the most important thing is that you have a strong interest in, for example, gold, jewelry, and watches and want to learn more.

To quickly get into the job, good computer skills, experience with the Office suite, and the ability to learn new things are important. You have a good understanding of finance and numbers and are fluent in Swedish and English. It is a merit if you speak additional languages.

Important information about the role

This is a general fixed-term employment with a start as soon as possible and ongoing as needed. In this role, you will support our store in Borås. Working hours are scheduled based on the store's opening hours, and you need to be available to work both during the day and in the evenings.

In this role, you will receive an hourly wage that is partly based on your experience and skills. In addition, vacation pay will be added.
