Maintenance Technician in Gothenburg

Do you want to work with advanced technology in an innovative environment? We are now looking for a maintenance technician who wants to contribute to operational reliability and development at AstraZeneca's facility in Mölndal, a unique place where technology and innovation meet.

Caverion has a collaboration agreement with the global, innovation-driven pharmaceutical company AstraZeneca for operations and maintenance in Mölndal. The facility is distinguished by advanced technical systems. As a service and maintenance technician, you will be a key person with a holistic perspective and responsibility for areas such as compressed air, steam/boilers, and refrigeration systems.

Job Responsibilities

In the role of maintenance technician, you will have a broad responsibility for ensuring the operation of advanced technical installations. You will work both practically and administratively with planning, preparation, and execution of maintenance. The role involves close contact with customers and clients, where you act as a technical sounding board and contribute to the development of routines and working methods.

Examples of Job Tasks

• Plan and perform preventive and corrective maintenance of machines and technical installations
• Inspect and service equipment and improve reliability and efficiency
• Manage spare parts systems and orders
• Work in maintenance systems and with reporting and technical documentation

Your Profile

As a maintenance technician, we are looking for someone with several years of experience in maintenance work within process industry/electrical control/automation. You are used to working with complex systems and have a good understanding of troubleshooting and problem-solving. To succeed in the role, you need to be structured, solution-oriented, and enjoy taking your own initiatives. Safety and confidentiality awareness is a given.

We expect you to have

• Technical education
• Experience with compressed air, steam, boilers, and refrigeration systems
• Certification as a boiler operator and preferably refrigeration certification
• Good knowledge of Swedish and English in both speech and writing
• Driving license B
