Specialist in general medicine for a growing health center in Bromma

We are looking for someone with solid clinical experience and confidence in the role of a general practitioner – a person who wants to continue developing and contribute to the future primary care of Region Stockholm. At Bromma Health Center, we are a dedicated and highly competent team of doctors and nurses who together run a smaller, personal health center in the heart of Brommaplan.

Our goal is to provide care of the highest quality supported by the latest tools and methods in modern healthcare.

About us

At Bromma Health Center, we carry out a general practitioner assignment on behalf of Region Stockholm.

We have a growing home care assignment, active chronic disease clinics, and an attractive first-line assignment for adults.

As a smaller health center with close collaboration between professions, we create good continuity and high-quality care.

Responsibilities / Areas of Responsibility

What does the role of the Medical Lead Physician (MLA) entail? You will:

• Lead and ensure the quality of the health center's medical work according to science and proven experience.
• Support and mentor colleagues in medical issues and complex patient cases.
• Collaborate with the operations manager in the management team regarding quality, patient safety, and development.
• Drive improvement work and follow up on medical results and routines.
• Combine medical leadership with clinical patient work.

Daily tasks

• Combine patient work with medical leadership responsibilities.
• Support colleagues in medical assessments and guidance.
• Follow up on quality, routines, and patient safety.
• Participate in management meetings and collaborate closely with the operations manager.
• Initiate and follow up on improvement work and incident management.

Main goals and challenges of the role

• Ensure high medical quality and safe care.
• Balance clinical work with leadership responsibilities.
• Engage the team in change and improvement work.
• Clarify responsibilities and roles in a complex organization.
• Meet the region's requirements for quality, accessibility, and patient safety.

Qualifications / Requirements

• Completed specialist training and at least 5 years of experience as a general practitioner in Sweden
• We are looking for someone with good collaboration and communication skills, who is empathetic and attentive in patient meetings, structured and responsible with good judgment, proactive and development-oriented, and a team player who works with a positive attitude without prestige.
