Are you a nurse curious about emergency care? Do you want to be part of a competent and interdisciplinary team that creates the best conditions for person-centered care? Then this is the perfect position for you. We are now welcoming a new colleague!
The orthopedic department is an emergency care unit that admits patients around the clock. Here, we provide pre- and post-operative care for patients with orthopedic diagnoses. A certain number of elective patients undergoing hip, knee, shoulder, and foot surgeries are also cared for in the department. We have a great atmosphere in our department, and there is a strong interest in new ideas and continuous improvements. We highly value patient safety, and our employees are deeply involved in this work.
We value working interdisciplinary to make the best use of knowledge. Your and your colleagues' knowledge is shared during our team rounds, where we review the patients and diagnoses we have in the department. We encourage all ways to utilize your skills and ideas. We strive to be an attractive workplace where our values guide us. In our orthopedic care unit, no two days are alike. Here, we have a strong forward momentum and joy in developing care with a focus on patient involvement and safety.
We work with person-centered care, a project we have together with Professor Anna Forsberg.

In 2025, we have prioritized change work, patient safety, and business development together with our employees, which we will continue in 2026. We have allocated time in the schedule for this work, which means that one shift every tenth week takes place outside the workplace with a focus on development.
