We are now welcoming a dedicated physiotherapist who wants to help strengthen the physical health of our patients and the physiotherapy function in primary care. As a physiotherapist at Vårdcentralen Laxen in Ängelholm, you are an important part of our interdisciplinary team, where collaboration and a holistic view of the patient are in focus. We are a workplace characterized by warmth and care, where we support each other, develop together, and create a safe care environment for our patients.

At Vårdcentralen Laxen, many professional categories are represented, and we have approximately 9,600 registered patients. Here, specialist doctors in general medicine, district nurses/nurses, nursing assistants, medical secretaries, physiotherapists, receptionists, occupational therapists, social workers, psychologists, and dietitians work. Our child health center (BVC) is run by two nurses and a pediatrician.

We work together in teams and believe it is important that we feel good at work and have good cohesion. Everyone is equally important, both staff and patients!

RESPONSIBILITIES

With us, there is a well-functioning physiotherapy department consisting of five physiotherapists. We are a group with good cohesion, an open atmosphere, and a lot of laughter, where we focus on helping our patients while supporting and learning from each other. To achieve this, we have regular internal training. We work closely with the occupational therapist.

In your role as a physiotherapist, you will work with the assessment and treatment of patients with primary issues related to the musculoskeletal system. Treatment is provided both individually and in groups. Patients of all ages with various diagnoses come to us, giving you the opportunity for a varied and developing job. You have good opportunities to collaborate with other staff categories at the health center regarding patients.

When you start with us, you will receive an introduction tailored to your experiences, so you can integrate into the organization and your role effectively.

QUALIFICATIONS

We welcome you who are a licensed physiotherapist with the authority to operate within Swedish healthcare. Language skills in Swedish at least corresponding to level C1 according to the Council of Europe’s scale are required. Furthermore, we prefer that you have several years of experience working in primary care and experience or education in neurology, orthopedics (OMI/OMT/MDT), and/or acupuncture.

For this position, we are looking for someone who is proactive, engaged, and responsible. You enjoy collaboration but also have a good ability to work independently. Additionally, you communicate easily and can quickly adapt when the situation requires it. In this recruitment, we place great importance on personal suitability.
