We are looking for you who want to support our care recipients in their daily lives with everything they may need to achieve a good quality of life. The assignments are varied, fun, and sometimes challenging. We guarantee that you will experience an action-packed summer where daily encounters lead to lifelong experiences.

Sotenäs municipality needs summer substitutes for home care, special accommodations, as well as the short-term unit, LSS accommodations, social psychiatry, and service efforts. If you are going to work in home care or housing support, you need to present a valid B driver's license.

With us, you have the opportunity to work for 8 weeks and receive compensation for 10. Furthermore, we can offer monthly employment or hourly employment and a working degree between 50% and 100%. To take advantage of the offer, you need to have been employed at least 80% of the time during 8 weeks in June - August.

As a summer substitute in Sotenäs municipality, you have varied working hours based on a schedule, day/evening or night, both weekdays and weekends. Job tasks involve supporting care recipients in their daily lives with everything from creating a sense of security to service and care.

The care profession is no longer just a classic care job. Today we work with digital locks, security alarms, mobile working methods, apps, and see welfare technology as an obvious part of everyday life. Qualifications

We are looking for you who have education and/or interest in working in care and support. If you are 16 years old or older, you are welcome to apply for our service jobs. To succeed as a summer substitute with us, you need to be social, empathetic, resourceful, and able to work both independently and in a team. You need to have good knowledge of Swedish in both spoken and written form. You have a good attitude and a strong ability to create a sense of meaning based on individually adapted support. Great importance is placed on personal suitability.

Conditions

We are in need of summer substitutes during the period of June-August. You will receive an introduction before starting work. The introduction consists of theory, knowledge of transfers and medication but also includes practical training. Of course, salary is paid during the introduction period.

Selection and interviews will take place continuously during the advertising period. You do not need to attach a cover letter - however, it is important that you answer the questions you will encounter when submitting your application, which form the basis for the first selection we make. A CV can be attached advantageously.

An extract from the criminal record will be requested prior to a possible employment, so it is good if you order this from the police authority in good time.
