Your Daily Life – Strengthening Sweden's Total Defense

Region North manages the Fortifications Agency's property portfolio in Sweden's four northernmost counties: Norrbotten, Västerbotten, Jämtland, and Västernorrland. Currently, over 120 people work in the region, distributed across management, operations, and support functions. The property portfolio in the Luleå operations district is varied, including everything from aircraft hangars, workshops, restaurants, barracks to vehicle washing facilities, cold garages, and similar. The operations district conducts inspections and maintenance as well as troubleshooting and repairs of properties and property technical systems, as well as work in various types of outdoor environments.

As an electrical operations technician, you primarily work independently, but also collaboratively in a team, with the operation and maintenance of our portfolio of fortification facilities. The job involves daily customer contact and collaboration with the Armed Forces and our subcontractors. The role also includes participation in smaller projects. Work takes place within the district with a base in Luleå. Travel within the district may occur. On-call duty may be included in the position.

Qualifications

We are looking for someone who is a trained electrician with experience in the operation and maintenance of technical systems and properties. You have good administrative skills and are proficient in using support systems. You also have good knowledge of Swedish, both spoken and written. A Class B driver's license is required.

It is advantageous if you have previously worked with property automation and/or ESA. Experience in independently handling fault reports, operational optimization, and troubleshooting is also meritorious, as is experience working with control and regulation technology.

The position is a permanent employment, and a probationary period may apply. As a permanent employee, you will be placed in a war position. The place of employment is Luleå. Employment with us requires Swedish citizenship and involves placement in a security class.
