Information about the position

Professionals Nord is seeking a mechanic on behalf of Orefields Group. The assignment is part of our staffing services. You will be employed by Professionals Nord and work as a consultant at Orefields Group for 6 months. The intention is that you may eventually be hired directly by them, provided that all parties are satisfied with the collaboration.

Job responsibilities
As a mechanic at Orefields Group, you will work with troubleshooting, repair, and maintenance of everything from heavy trucks and construction machinery to passenger cars. The work is primarily based in the workshop but may also involve assignments in the field in the local area. You will work closely with an experienced and dedicated team where you help each other solve problems and ensure that machines and vehicles are quickly back in operation.

Examples of job responsibilities:

• Troubleshooting and repair of trucks, construction machinery, and passenger cars
• Preventive maintenance and service
• Work in the workshop as well as some field service
• Handling of hydraulics and heavy vehicles
• Collaboration with other mechanics and foremen in the team

The working hours follow a 7–7 schedule, Monday to Monday, and there is an opportunity for shared accommodation for those considering moving to the area, as the work is in another location.

A C driver's license is an advantage.

Requirements for the position:

• A technical education or equivalent work experience is a requirement for the position.
• B driver's license.
• Fluent Swedish in speech and writing
