About the role

As a mechanic in our maintenance department, you will work with all mechanical tasks within an industry. Main tasks will include maintenance, repair, and process improvements in our production equipment. The work also involves assembly during new construction in connection with projects.

Main responsibilities:

  • Plan, execute, and follow up on our machine maintenance to reduce the risk of unplanned downtime and quality defects
  • Address urgent operational disturbances and maintain daily contact with operators and management to stay updated
  • Maintenance work in the form of changing tool parts, grinding tools, and repairs

  • Work on continuous improvements and waste reduction related to maintenance
  • Participate in project work such as the introduction or updates of machines and tools


Your background

Essential requirements

  • Experience in mechanical maintenance work
  • Ability to perform basic welding

Desirable qualifications

  • High school diploma in technology or industrial program or equivalent.
  • Experience in reporting, preparation, and cutting machining
  • Experience in any of these areas: hydraulics, pneumatics, automation, and mechanics.
  • Knowledge of Hot Work
