JOB DESCRIPTION

Do you want to make a difference in people's lives in their own homes? We are looking for you who are a district nurse, specialist nurse with a focus on the elderly, or a licensed nurse to join our dedicated team in home healthcare.

Your mission

As a nurse in home healthcare, you play a central role in providing good, close, and person-centered care in collaboration with the team, the patient, and relatives. You work health-promoting and preventive, provide advice and support, and are responsible for ensuring that medical prescriptions are carried out in a patient-safe manner.

Your tasks include, among others:

• Nursing and medical interventions for chronic illness
• Responsibility for palliative care and end-of-life care
• Planning and implementation of joint team efforts
• Supervision of students (term 6) and support for colleagues
• Delegation and supervision of health and medical care interventions to nursing staff

We are looking for someone who enjoys working independently but also values close collaboration with an engaged team. You have a genuine interest in people of all ages, with a particular focus on the elderly, and a safe, professional approach in patients' home environments. As patients' needs can change rapidly, the role requires flexibility, initiative, and a positive attitude where you see opportunities rather than obstacles. You have good computer skills and are comfortable working with new technology.

QUALIFICATIONS

Mandatory requirements:

• Licensed nurse
• Driver's license B

To independently perform medical and nursing-related tasks within health and medical care, formal competence as a licensed nurse is required, which includes relevant education, license, and legal responsibility.

A driver's license B is required for the position, as the work involves traveling between patients in home healthcare. You need to be able to drive independently and in a safe manner to perform your tasks and reach patients in their homes.

Meritorious:

• Experience as a nurse
• District nurse or specialist nurse for the elderly

It is meritorious if you have at least two years of experience as a licensed nurse, preferably in home healthcare, primary care, or other relevant healthcare areas. It is also meritorious if you are a district nurse or specialist nurse with a focus on the elderly, as this competence provides deeper knowledge and security in the work within home healthcare.
