JOB RESPONSIBILITIES

As a nurse in Home Health Care, you will collaborate with both internal and external actors based on a person-centered approach with the patient in focus. In your professional role, you will perform medical assessments via phone/digitally and in physical meetings. Medication management as well as support and advice to nursing staff are also part of your daily work.

In the role of a nurse in Home Health Care, you need to be able to switch between independent work and teamwork. We are proud of our mobile and digital working methods and continue to develop them with the patient in focus.

Whether you have extensive experience in your nursing profession or are new to your role, we welcome your application. An adapted and individual introduction with mentorship is offered to help you grow in your role as a nurse.

The Home Health Care in Ronneby is in the midst of transitioning to Good and Close Care, which means that more patients are cared for in their home environment and offered qualified care, such as tracheostomy care, antibiotics, blood transfusions, and palliative care. We have a close collaboration with health centers, specialist care, palliative teams, doctor cars, and ambulances, which we continue to develop to meet future needs.

You will be offered regular training both externally and internally to develop and utilize your skills effectively. The position is daytime-based with weekend work included.

QUALIFICATIONS

You who are applying are a licensed nurse, preferably with specialist training in district or elderly care. Other further education is also meritorious, which the employer sees can contribute to developing the care chain. We prefer that you have experience as a nurse and that you are confident in your professional role.

In the role of a nurse, you document and communicate daily and therefore need to express yourself well in Swedish, both verbally and in writing. We want you to have good IT skills and be curious about new technology that allows us to meet future needs. Since the department has operations throughout Ronneby municipality, it is a requirement that you have a B driver's license.
