Welcome to the Hospital in Trelleborg, the small hospital with a big heart! The Hospital Trelleborg, with its over 640 employees, is a personal hospital with great opportunities. We provide specialized basic healthcare for a catchment area of 120,000 residents. Here, it is easy to get involved and make an impact, which makes us adaptable.

Furthermore, there is close cooperation with both internal and external actors. The department belongs to the area of planned operations and mainly deals with elective surgery.

The Orthopedic Department operates around the clock, providing orthopedic pre- and post-operative care. We have a close collaboration with both pre- and post-operative departments and surgery, all to optimize our joint care of the patient. The reception handles surgical planning, admission before surgery, as well as new and follow-up visits. We are very concerned about our patients and work with their needs in focus.

During the day, there is an operations manager responsible for telephony, orders, and other coordination in the department.

RESPONSIBILITIES

You will work in a team with various professional categories and be responsible for the nursing tasks that occur in an operating care department. This includes working with pre- and post-operative care. Many patients treated here also have internal medical conditions, which allows you to develop a broad competence. In addition to direct patient work, all employees are involved in developing and improving the care of our patients.

The position involves day and evening work as well as some weekend duty, two out of six weekends. The department applies a wish schedule, and scheduling is done in Multiacess.

QUALIFICATIONS

We welcome you who are a licensed nurse with the authority to work in Swedish healthcare. Language skills in Swedish corresponding to at least level C1 according to the Council of Europe's scale are required.
