Buyer for Restaurangjouren

Location: Jordbro, Greater Stockholm

At Restaurangjouren, we work with real food.

Raw materials, quality, and good relationships are at the center – both with our customers and our suppliers. We are a restaurant wholesaler delivering to restaurants in Greater Stockholm and working closely with producers in Sweden and abroad.

A large part of our soul lies in Italian raw materials, where taste, origin, and craftsmanship play a significant role.

We are now looking for a buyer who not only loves good raw materials but also has the experience and judgment needed to get flows, volumes, and timing right.

About the role

This is a hands-on role for you who understands the connection between the right purchases and a functioning inventory. You will work with purchasing and assortment, but also with analyzing flows: what to buy, how often, in what volumes, and with the right balance between availability and capital binding.

You will have close daily collaboration with the warehouse in Jordbro and adjust purchases based on season, demand, and actual sales – not just forecasts. The role is on-site, practical, and long-term, and will be shaped together with you.

We believe that you

• Have extensive experience in the restaurant or food industry
• Have practical experience in purchasing and inventory management
• Are used to analyzing flows, turnover rates, and purchasing frequency
• Have a good sense of volumes, timing, and the shelf life of raw materials
• Have a genuine interest in food, raw materials, and quality
• Communicate fluently in Swedish and English
• Have knowledge of Italian (a big plus)
• Have experience with Pyramid (highly meritorious)

The position is full-time, Monday to Friday 08:00-17:00, with immediate start.
