Our Operations

At OPÖ-anesthesia, we are responsible for anesthesia in two different fields of operations. In Plastic-Jaw, we perform anesthesia for reconstructive surgery, children with cleft lip and palate, burns, and jaw surgery. In Ear, we perform anesthesia for tumor surgery, rhinology surgery, as well as several short procedures such as tonsillectomies, abrasions, etc., on both children and adults. We are also the department that handles airway obstructions and difficult airways.

With us, you will have the opportunity to work with a varied patient group, both adults and children, from healthy patients to severely ill patients and varying anesthesias. We conduct both elective and emergency operations.

Your Qualifications

We are looking for you who are a licensed nurse with a specialist nursing degree in anesthesia care.

We Offer

We offer a permanent position as an anesthesia nurse, with start date according to agreement.

With us, you will receive an individually tailored onboarding. During the initial period, you will work Monday to Friday to settle into your role as an anesthesia nurse with us at OPÖ. After that, you will begin on-call training where we share the on-call line but for gynecology, pediatrics, and neurology. You will receive an individual introduction within all sections tailored to your previous experiences. We offer continuous professional development together with our training responsible and the educational unit of the area.
