We are currently looking for a Chief Electrical Safety Officer for Billerud and their maintenance department within the Electrical and Automation section – a key role with both strategic and operational responsibilities!

The role of Chief Electrical Safety Officer is broad and has several areas of responsibility. You will lead the Electrical & Power team consisting of 11 skilled employees such as maintenance engineers, technicians, and automation electricians. At the same time, you will be responsible for electrical safety for the entire company, ensuring that the electrical power facilities meet all requirements and regulations.

Within each area, your tasks will include:

Leadership

• Operational management and daily leadership of the team
• Responsibility for protection, safety, and personnel issues
• Ensure competence supply and training
• Budget responsibility for the group's operations

Electrical Safety Responsibility

• Ensure that electrical power facilities meet applicable requirements
• Monitor laws, regulations, and agreements regarding electrical safety
• Coordinate training efforts within the mill
• Manage electrical reports and electrical subscriptions for Skärblacka mill
• Contact person for authorities and organizations
• Drive concession matters regarding electrical networks and self-control programs
• Ensure inspections and follow-up of remarks
• Quality assure operational order management and instructions
• Coordinate electrical safety work for the entire company

To fit and thrive in this role, we believe you have:

• Authorization (A)
• Several years of work experience in leadership
• Experience from the process and/or manufacturing industry

It is also advantageous if you have experience with:

• CMMS systems, preferably IFS or SAP
• Financial responsibility
