The Mava Heart Department in Örnsköldsvik belongs to the Northern Primary Care Area. The department focuses on cardiology and medical emergency care. We constantly work to improve and develop our operations, where patient safety, professional development, and working environment are some of the issues we highly value. The department employs kitchen assistants, nurses, nursing assistants, doctors, physiotherapists, and occupational therapists.

We are now looking for a kitchen assistant to join us at the Mava Heart Department. We are a team with a mix of individuals of different ages, men and women. A cheerful atmosphere and good collaboration characterize the department. We strive for a common value base, where engagement and participation are important ingredients.

The position is a full-time temporary position over the summer of 2026, starting from week 25 until week 32.

The main job responsibilities include preparing breakfast, snacks, and dinner. Ordering and serving lunch and dinner delivered from Örnsköldsvik municipality, as well as ordering other food items. Regular routines regarding kitchen cleaning and dishwashing after meals. The tasks also include self-checks regarding food safety.

We are looking for someone who

• Has a complete upper secondary education
• Has good knowledge of Swedish in both spoken and written form

It is an advantage if you

• Have experience working in a hospital kitchen
