We are experts in industrial automation and are now looking for more engaged automation engineers to join our team in Gothenburg. Locally, we work with the market's largest clients on exciting projects that are driven both in-house in our own project operations and at our clients' sites. Our clients and assignments can be found in several sectors, primarily within industry, infrastructure, and energy, and we drive future projects in areas such as production, research, and development.

Our segment, Automation West at AFRY, currently consists of four closely collaborating sections with around 60 colleagues based in Varberg and Gothenburg, working together in a broad competence group within technology, automation, electrical design, and sustainability.

Job Description

As a project manager in our team, you will be responsible for driving the development of our clients' industrial solutions, often within the vehicle, electrical, and automation fields. You will be part of a larger team of driven project managers with a strong focus on development in the department, working together to create the technical solutions of the future for our clients. Together, we create more modern solutions and help our clients stay at the forefront of various automation solutions. 

As a project manager, you will lead one or more technical projects, which primarily involves being responsible for planning, follow-up, and coordination of internal and external resources in both client and AFRY's internal projects. The role may involve leading your own projects or participating in larger projects as a sub-project manager, coordinator, or similar.

At the same time, you find technology interesting, take initiative, and create the best conditions to achieve set goals in your work, while combining this with a humble attitude and curiosity. We also believe that you are motivated by working in a varied and dynamic work environment and have an interest in leading and engaging others. You have good knowledge of Swedish and English, both spoken and written.

• Relevant technical education and/or equivalent experience.
• Several years of experience as a project manager within industry or infrastructure, where you have gained knowledge about how projects are driven technically, economically, in terms of time and resources. 
• Experience in industrial automation and an understanding of how projects in the field are conducted. 
• Possess a valid B driver's license.

We consider it very meritorious if you have also worked in the automotive, process, or water and wastewater sectors, or have experience in charging infrastructure, hydrogen, or IT/OT.
