About us

Capio Ögon is located in several parts of the country, with three clinics in Stockholm. Since autumn 2021, the Stockholm eye clinic has been under Capio's umbrella and is now called Capio Ögon at Sophiahemmet.We are now looking for an ophthalmologist specialist for our clinic at Sophiahemmet. The premises are located in the historic Sophiahemmet, which is a private hospital with around 40 independent healthcare providers with various specialties. We work on behalf of Region Stockholm and are accredited in all areas of the eye care choice. We also receive a large number of insured patients as well as some private ones.

We are also looking for a specialist doctor for our fine clinic on Östermalmsgatan for a couple of days a week. Our operations are characterized by a focus on high-quality care, the best treatment, and genuine commitment among our employees. Your role The work mainly consists of outpatient services with working hours Monday to Friday. We have insured patients and all parts of the care choice, outpatient services including laser treatment in the anterior/posterior segment, diabetes screening, outpatient surgeries, cataract surgeries.

You will be part of a team with high competence and service spirit.

About you We are looking for you who are an ophthalmologist specialist, with broad competence in the field of ophthalmology and many years of experience working in eye clinics.

The operation has well-established routines to meet the large healthcare needs that the specialty of ophthalmology is currently facing.
