Procurement Officer at IMY

IMY is on a growth and transformation journey in a changing environment where privacy issues are becoming increasingly important. We are expanding our procurement function and are now recruiting a procurement officer. Job Responsibilities

As a procurement officer at IMY, you will independently lead and conduct procurements and renewed competitions from government framework agreements. You will manage the entire process from feasibility study to completed procurement.

Additionally, you will support the organization in contract management and contract follow-up. You are also expected to contribute to the development of routines and processes within procurement and purchasing at IMY. You will work closely with two colleagues in the procurement function and the rest of the organization.

The tasks are varied, making the work diverse and exciting. Your responsibilities include:

  • Project managing procurements and orders with renewed competition
  • Providing advice and support on procurement issues
  • Informing and educating in the field of procurement and contract management

You will report to the unit manager for finance and HR, who is part of one of the agency's management groups.

Qualifications

We are looking for someone with relevant academic education, preferably in strategic purchasing, economics, law, or completed YH/KY education in procurement or another purchasing-related field. You have at least three years of current experience in independent, qualified work with public procurements and have very good knowledge of the Public Procurement Act (LOU).

You have a good understanding of the business conditions in a procurement and a strong interest in IT and technology. You have experience working in a procurement system and an excellent ability to express yourself in both spoken and written Swedish and English.

It is an advantage if you have experience in procuring goods and services in the IT sector, experience working with or implementing e-commerce systems, and experience in educating on procurement issues.

You are also meticulous, resilient, and able to deliver quality even under high workloads.

The Position

The employment is a permanent full-time position. IMY applies a six-month probationary period. You will work in our pleasant activity-based premises centrally located in Stockholm.
