Are you an expert in machine management looking for a consulting assignment based in Stockholm with a focus on technology, maintenance, and development?

We are looking for someone who wants to take a central role as a machine manager in a large logistics company operating throughout Sweden. Here you will have the opportunity to influence technical development, drive improvement work, and ensure high operational reliability in modern production environments. The assignment is consultancy-based, starts immediately, and lasts for 6 to 12 months. You will be based in Stockholm but will have regular travel to facilities across the country. Your tasks

As a consultant in this role, you will:

• Manage production machines and equipment, including service and spare parts
• Follow up on maintenance plans, machine audits, and condition checks
• Be responsible for technology-related procurements and contract follow-ups
• Participate in and sometimes lead technical projects, tests, and pilots
• Coordinate machine relocations and technical changes
• Work in CAD as needed to update terminal layouts
• Perform lifecycle analyses during procurements
• Collaborate with local technicians and external suppliers

Worth knowing

The assignment is full-time and starts immediately. It is a consulting assignment expected to last for 6 to 12 months. You will be based in Stockholm, but travel to facilities and suppliers, both within Sweden and internationally if needed, is a natural part of the role. You will become part of a knowledgeable and committed technical team with a strong focus on future logistics solutions.

Our expectations

We are looking for someone with an academic background in production technology, automation, or process development. You have deep expertise in maintenance and operational reliability, as well as extensive experience in machine management. You are accustomed to working on a project basis and setting requirements for both internal and external parties. It is important that you are communicative, structured, and good at prioritizing. You are fluent in both Swedish and English, in both speech and writing.
