JOB RESPONSIBILITIES

We are looking for night assistants to Västanvid special housing in Knislinge.

QUALIFICATIONS

Vocational qualification from the upper secondary school care and nursing program or approved grades from adult education courses in care and nursing (1500 points). You should have experience working nights. If you have experience in somatic and/or dementia care, it is an advantage.

We expect you to convey security, see each individual client in all meetings through care and interest. You understand the importance of meeting each person based on their unique needs, conditions, and wishes, and can contribute to them living a meaningful and social life.

You are relationship-oriented and have knowledge of low-arousal responses, a method that focuses on creating calm and security, which is particularly important when working with people with dementia.

The role requires you to have good collaboration skills to work with colleagues and other professionals involved in the client's case. You need to be able to quickly adapt when conditions change. You understand the importance of following the routines and working methods that exist in the workplace. You have the physical ability to perform the tasks included in the assignment, such as lifting, personal care, and transfers, with the help of ergonomic aids.

You are an experienced computer user, as the computer is used as a tool in your work. You are proficient in the Swedish language, both spoken and written.
